Within sight of the Connecticut River, the Green Mountains and Mt. Ascutney, Alyson's Orchard includes 90 acres of apples, plums, peaches, pears and berries. Visitors are welcome at Alyson's - We're happy to take a break from our chores to tour the orchard and offer our guests fruit from the cooler. For an extended visit to the area, stay at our beautiful Rochambeau Lodge or the Foster Farmhouse, available year around for one-party groups such as family gatherings, weddings, ski groups and hunting parties. The perfect vacation spot for leaf watchers and foliage seekers in the Fall.
Directions: From Boston, take Route 2 West to Route 140 North to Route 12 North From the westside of Keene, where Route 12 turns sharply to the north at the light, it is 12.8 miles to Blackjack Crossing. Turn right. Follow along 1 mile to Wentworth Road and turn left. The main Orchard entrance is .5 miles on the left. Our offices are in the large red metal building at the top of the hill.
>From Hartford, CT, take Interstate 91 to Vermont Exit 5 (Westminster/Walpole) to Route 5 South to Route 123 East to Route 12 South, then 4.4 miles South on Route 12 to Blackjack Crossing. Turn left. Applecrest Farm Orchards is the oldest and largest apple orchard in New Hampshire's beautiful seacoast region. Only minutes from Hampton Beach and historic Portsmouth, and less than an hour from the White Mountains or Boston, its central location makes it a popular year-round attraction. It has been growing the finest fruits and vegetables on its 400+ acres since the first apple tree was planted in 1913.
Operated by the Wagner family since 1954, it now has over 20,000 apple trees producing 100,000 bushels of forty different varieties which include the ever popular McIntosh, Cortland, Red Delicious, Macoun and Ida Red, as well as many of the old-time favorites.

A 200 year-old family-owned and operated farm, we grow over 85 varieties of apples and 14 varieties of peaches on nearly 100 acres of prime farm land.
