Located just 1km from Cromwell, Freeway Orchard is a family owned and operated orchard growing a wide variety of the choicest fruit for which Central Otago is famous. The eight hectare orchard specialises in producing quality fruit for export and sale within New Zealand. A large part of its production is sold at the busy Orchard Shop, located on the main highway from Christchurch or Dunedin to Queenstown.
We are open from 8am until dark 365 days of the year. We look forward to making your visit enjoyable and fondly remembered.
The fruit season runs from December to May and we offer you the opportunity to sample ORCHARD FRESH PRODUCE, and pick your own succulent fruit while touring the orchard.
