Description: Our grandfather started our orchard back in 1948. We are the third generation of Simmons' to grow fruit at our location. We have 240 acres of apples, 17 acres of peaches, as well as pears, plums, and nectarines. We also have a petting zoo from August till the middle of November and free hayrides on October weekends. On weekends we also have the Dumpling Depot open where you can get great apple dumplings with ice cream.
In addition to the apples we also grow 17 acres of Peaches that start to ripen in early July and last through mid September. We also have melons and summer vegetables.

The Orchard at Honey Run

The Orchard at Honey Run contains seven acres of fruit,
ranging from 10 varieties of raspberries to 18+ varieties of
apples. Beginning in June, the raspberries begin to ripen
and throughout the rest of the summer cherries,
blackberries, peaches, and other fruits become ready for
picking. The fruit season at the Orchard continues through
Mid- October, when the last varieties of apples are picked.
The Orchard sells its fruit to the Inn at Honey Run, as well
as to local consumers and guests at the Inn. In 1999, the
Orchard produced over 1100 bushels of apples and over 315
bushels of peaches. New in 2000 is an acre of pick-your-own
black raspberries. Return to childhood by visiting the
Orchard and picking your own fruit!
Directions: from Millersburg, proceed east on East
Jackson Street of Millersburg (Routes 39 and 62). Pass Court
House and gas station on right. At next corner, turn left
(north) onto Route 241, which makes several turns on it's
way out of town. After 1 9/10 miles, turn right (east) onto
County Road 203 (not well marked). Continue for 1 1/2 miles
to INN drive marked by sign.
