Michigan Orchards- Southeastern region
Home to Michigan's oldest orchards, this area is under tremendous pressure from urban sprawl. Supporting these growers is more important than ever. Most of these hardy and resourceful growers have developed their orchards into educational and entertaining destinations for day tourists. In particular, Spicer's in Hart and Westview in Romeo are outstanding orchards that successfully blend a traditional orchard atmosphere with family activities and events.
