Description: The Orchard at Altapass is an Appalachian cultural and historical center celebrating the people, music, art, and natural beauty of the Blue Ridge mountains. Over 100 years old, the Orchard sits right on the Blue Ridge Parkway providing some of the most amazing scenery in North Carolina. The Orchard is now open DAILY from 10-6. We serve up mountain grown apples, authentic mountain music, local mountain arts, jams, jellies, sauces, sweets, gifts, and more. And don't forget apples! Come pick your own, or take home a bag hand-picked by our talented staff!
