Description: The Apple Barn is a unique country store at the orchard that is housed in a remodeled barn. Here, visitors will find a variety of fresh-picked and pick-your-own apples, apple pies, apple cider, cider donuts, caramel apples, pumpkins, and an extensive selection of unique gifts. In June, homegrown strawberries are available and in the fall there is a tree maze and tractor-train ride through the orchard.
This year, during National Apple Month, the Jacobsons will celebrate their 14th Annual "Apple Fest" the weekend of September 28 & 29. Fall is a perfect opportunity for visitors to sample the many varieties of apples while enjoying a crisp autumn getaway. In fact, every weekend is an adventure waiting to be savored at The Apple Barn.

Description: Hafs Orchard began in the late 1930's and was a local institution when we bought it from the Hafs family in 1982. At that time we added "Road" to the name.It is a small(7 acres of trees) quiet orchard. We encourage customers to walk in the orchard and that is the only source of entertainment available here.We have a good mix of old , antique and modern apple varieties, with some of the original standard sized trees, some 18 year old semi-dwarf trees, and fully dwarfed trees on trellis & wire training systems. Our first Honeycrisp trees were planted in 1994 and we have been believers ever since the first crop. Now one half of our 2000 trees are Honeycrisp. We're learning about them every year! We start picking Honeycrisp around the middle of September and in the past have sold out by the middle of October. Every year we hope to have a bigger supply.
