1/2 mile down hill on the right. From Route 11, turn at Handimart in Toms Brook.
Take first left onto Harrisville Road and go exactly 1.8 miles to farm on left.

Special Comments: Our fruits and vegetables are grown without, or with
a minimum of, chemicals. We use crop rotation, green and animal manuring and
composting. Apples sprayed with a minimum of chemical sprays. Vegetables and
apples available in quantity amounts. Call before visiting the farm about pick-your-own

Directions: From I-81, exit 310 onto Route 37 north. Proceed 2 miles to the Opequon exit. Turn left onto Route 622 (Cedar Creek Grade); go approximately 2 miles to village of Opequon; go left across bridge and proceed approximately 2.5 miles; turn left onto Barley Lane (Route 732). Farm is the first driveway on the right.
Hours: September 21st, 2003 and every weekend through October -- 10 a.m.- 5 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays. Group tours scheduled during the week, Tuesday-Friday beginning September 16th, 2003.
Information: We are a working farm and recognized as a Virginia Century Farm with a dairy, apple orchard and beef cattle and "The Pumpkin Patch". This will be our 8th year opening the farm to the public in the fall. We offer pick your own apples, hayrides to the pumpkin patch to pick your own pumpkin, antique equipment display, an 8 acre corn maze (Tomb of the Phantom Pharaoh), a 4,000 sq ft. haunted house (Haunted Nightmares), and our Packing Shed will be open with fresh & sparkling cider, fresh baked pies, etc., pumpkin pie fudge, apples of course, and our newest venture, Antiques & Collectibles. Plus we have a large picnic area. Much more to see!

Description: This is a family farm of around 900 acres. We have 350 acres of fruit, mainly apples but including peaches, pears, plums and a few apricots. We also grow fresh vegetables and pumpkins.
We have sold retail for 50 years out of our packing house. 4 years ago we built a farm market on the farm. We now have a bakery and a wine tasting room. Wine tastings every Saturday. In our bakery we feature our famous apple cider donuts, fruit pies, apple & peach turnovers, fresh apple cakes, cinnamon & rum buns, fresh bread, coconut, lemon & chocolate meringue pies and fresh cakes.
The second Saturday of August we have our annual Peach Festival with a barrel train for kids, wagon rides, lots of food, fresh peach sundaes, homemade peach cobbler & ice cream, music in the afternoon, and lots of peaches!
Beginning September 1 we have pick your own apples. The third weekend of September we have our Fall Farm Fun weekend. We will be gearing up for fall with apples, pumpkins, gourds and fall veggies. We will have a bounce around house and an apple pitching booth for kids, along with wagon rides. Food and fun for the whole family.
The second weekend of October is always our Apple Festval. We celebrate the apple. Whether you like your apple in a pie, cake, turnover, donut, cider or alone we can accomodate you! We will have music both days, barrel train for kids, wagon rides, lots of good food and lots of fun.
The fourth weekend of October is the time to celebrate pumpkins. The month of October we have pick your own pumpkins. We will have music and lots of halloween decorations around. Plenty of pumpkins & gourds already picked. Again we will have the barrel train and wagon rides. The ladies from our church will provide the food at this festival. Don't forget to check out our bakery, especially our famous apple cider donuts.
The second saturday of November is our second annual bakery festival. As we are gearing up for Thanksgiving and Christmas we sample everything we bake in our bakery. Have you ever seen a coconut cream pie that is 26 inches long and 18 inches wide? Come out on this Saturday and you will! We start taking bakery orders for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We also take orders for shipping apples and also for shipping our fresh apple cakes.
Apples: We have 22 varieties of apples. We start with Lodi in early July then Rambo, Ginger Gold, Gala, Empire, Honeycrisp, Golden Supreme, Greening, Yatika Fui, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Ida Red, Enterprise, Crispin, Romes, Nittany, Fuji , Yorks, Cameo, Stayman, Grannysmith, and Pink Lady
Other Items: July - August: Peaches, plums, pears. We also have fresh tomatoes, sweet corn, squash, cukes, watermelons and cantalopes. In the fall we have lots of winter squash.
Directions: From I-81 Exit 310 onto RT. 37 N. Proceed approximately 2 miles to the Opequon exit. Turn left and go 3 1/4 miles. Market and orchard are on the left.
