from Wytheville Virginia: Interstate 77 to Exit #2 - Fancy Gap. At the stop sign turn left. Take Highway 52 South for 8 miles. Turn left on State Road 686, Epworth Road. Go to stop sign, turn left on State Road 679, Wards Gap Road. Continue on Wards Gap Road for 3 miles, pack house is on the right. Green and white building.
from Winston Salem NC: Highway 52 North to one mile past Virginia State Line. Turn right on State Road 686, Epworth Road. Go to stop sign, turn left on State Road 679, Wards Gap Road. Continue on Wards Gap Road for 3 miles, pack house is on the right. Green and white building.
From Blue Ridge Parkway: Between milepost 193 and 194 at Orchard Gap (east of Fancy Gap, west of Meadows of Dan), go south on Orchard Gap Road (Virginia 691), down mountain 3 miles. This road turns into Wards Gap Road at the bottom of the mountain. The pack house is on the left. Green and white building. We are only 3.5 miles from Orchard Gap.
Hours: 8 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday, May 30-November 1. Saturday hours vary. Call for times.
Special Comments: Our orchards are located at the foot of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. Hiking and picnicking are encouraged. All ages are welcome. Restroom at the checkout station. Call for availability of fruit. Pick-you-own, fresh picked, or picked to order. For your convenience, we will pick your order for you if you call ahead of time and place your order. Cherry trees are small this makes them easier to reach. Call mid May for Cherry picking season starting dates. Early picking is the easiest ground picking. Call mid June for Apple and Peach harvesting dates.

Directions: From Amherst on Route 60 west, 6 miles. Right on Route 778 (Lowesville Road), 6 miles. Left on Route 621 (Indian Creek Road), 5 miles. This road becomes a dirt road the last 2 miles. Follow signs to orchard.
Hours: We operate from our home; therefore, we are open during daylight hours. The first three weekends in October, look for us at the sorghum, garlic and Amherst apple festivals.
Special Comments: Senior citizen discount for anyone 65 or older. Located deep in the Blue Ridge Mountains and only "1/2 mile from end of the world." Specializing in antique apple varieties. Demonstrations of cider making and apple grading on antique grading machine. Tours and groups are welcome! Two nature trails to enjoy through the home of deer, turkey, and bear. We are a small orchard and take time to provide special attention to our customers.

Directions: Take Route 460 1 mile west of Bedford. Turn right on Route 680 north for 5.5 miles. Follow the yellow apples. From the Peaks of Otter and Blue Ridge Parkway, take Route 43 south for 3.5 miles, turn right on Route 682 for 3 miles, turn right on Route 680 for 1 mile. Follow the yellow apples.
Hours: 8 a.m.-6 p.m., daily, beginning mid-August through the first weekend after Halloween.
Special Comments: A drive on the back roads to our farm is spectacular anytime but especially in the fall when you can taste our apples, cider, and other home grown and homemade products. Roadside stand open year round, 5 miles west of Bedford on Route 460. 15' high Johnny Appleseed statue. Restrooms. Picnic pavilion. Tour buses welcome anytime - appointments preferred. Call for fall festival information, held the third weekend in September, and special educational tours and school field trip information. On-farm winery featuring "Fruit of the Farm" wines is open daily during the season and year round by appointment.
